My name is Barbara Cline
I am an international quilt designer, author, and teacher who loves to share my techniques with others. I started creating quilts in my teens and have over 37 years of experience in quilting and teaching classes. My whole family shares a passion for tradition of quilt making, which has been passed down through generations. I have published six books with C&T Publishing.Currently, I teach classes at local quilt shops and give lectures, trunk shows, and workshops both nationally and internationally. I enjoy designing and piecing quilts from my home in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley, VirginiaI have had the pleasure of entering and placing in the Paducah quilt contest “New Quilts from Old Favorites” with my pieces, Seven Sisters and Dresden Plate. My wall hangings have also been displayed at events like the Paducah Quilt Show, Quilt Odyssey, Mid Atlantic Quilt Festival XVII, and the Hoffman Challenge.I come from a close-knit Mennonite family of quilters.
